Open water swimming
is an event option for Westside swimmers who have the passion for swimming
in bigger water. A swimmers' talents are pushed to the limit as they deal
with the endurance required for these longer races as well as facing the
element and whatever Mother Nature presents them with on race day. Competition
is every bit as challenging as their pool races. As you can see though,
the Westside swimmers enjoy the events in and out of the water.
